Dear Clay County Chamber of Commerce Members, 

The Clay County Chamber of Commerce now has a part-time paid employee to work the day-to-day business. My first day was January 6, 2025. The Active five Board members and I met and adopted revised By-laws and the Annual Membership application. The Chamber’s first event will be to host the “OPEN HOUSE” for the New Courtroom, in Fort Gaines. The event is February 20, 2025 from 2-4pm. Looking forward to meeting you there! I will be working diligently to gain your trust and support.

It remains The Chamber’s primary goal to provide opportunities and resources that help our business members prosper and to promote activities that advance the general welfare of Clay County.

The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will commit to:

• Member communication & focus
  • Access to board members and the Chamber Director
• Advertising Assistance
  • Member listing on the webpage will be updated as the membership dues are paid this year
  • Social media promotions – I am working with IT to get into the Facebook page and update it
• Professional Networking Opportunities
  • Monthly member meetings with informative programs – starting in March 2025
  • Annual Member Meeting/dinner (tentative)
• Marketing/Event Opportunities
  • Event co-sponsor opportunity
  • New member recognition and/or Ribbon cutting ceremonies for grand openings
• Other benefits
  • Benefits/resources through our greater Georgia Chamber of Commerce membership
  • Chamber/business relevant information shared through our website or email

I look forward to getting to know each of you by visiting the businesses that have a license with the County, City of Fort Gaines and the City of Bluffton.
